Here at CCI, our goal is to make sure that all of our customers are 100% satisfied with the quality of the products we offer, and we’re confident that you will be pleased with the products we provide for you. But, if something were to go wrong, and you aren’t satisfied with your products, simply contact us, by phone or email, and we’ll make it right. With that being stated, our terms are pretty standard, and we’ve tried to keep them simple (and short) enough, to not be too daunting. We encourage you to read through them, so that you understand the process, terms, and conditions of our service.
Although we take great pride and care in fulfilling all orders, sometimes things happen. If you’re not satisfied with the workmanship of your product, contact us. We’ll do our best to make it right. The warranty does not cover misspelled words, or other graphical errors on the approved proof. If the product is damaged upon arrival, contact us right away. You have 7 days from the date of delivery to report damaged products. We’ll ask you to take a few pictures of the damaged pieces, and email them to us. We’ll work out the details, and replace the damaged product at no cost to you.
All files sent with orders will be set up to the product size, and the proof will be emailed to you in a reasonable timeframe, usually within 2 hours. That proof represents a legal document, and is your “last chance” to catch any mistakes. If everything looks OK, email us back, letting us know that the proof is approved for printing, and it will go into production.
Products are produced on high-end imaging devices, and are monitored for color accuracy. Since most computer monitors or laptop screens are not profiled accurately, the color of the print will not be an exact match to the color on your monitor. You can be certain that the printed product will fall well within the “pleasing color” industry standard. Any PMS color-matching is not guaranteed, but will be reasonably close.
Turnaround and Shipping Policy
Online orders have a turnaround time specified for each different product. The clock starts at the time the proof we send to you is approved (by you). Since our normal business hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm CST, if the proof is approved after 5:00, the order will be put into production the following business day morning. Although it’s possible for 24 hour turnaround products to be printed and sent out that night, for legal reasons we have to say that the order will be printed and packaged for shipping the following business day. All shipping on large format printing is “Overnight Anywhere” so you would receive the products the following business day. For this reason, we recommend submitting files earlier in the day, so we can create the proof and send it to you, and you can approve it before 5:00pm CST. All online offset printing orders are shipped UPS ground, and usually take 3-5 business days. Faster shipping is available, at an additional cost.

We are not responsible in any way for any content linked to controlledcolor.com. We reserve the right to refuse work that we deem to be offensive, unlawful, harassing, libelous, threatening, harmful, obscene, malicious, abusive, vulgar, defamatory, pornographic, indecent, inflammatory, hateful or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable. You are solely responsible for the content and quality of any files submitted. You agree that you will not use any copyrighted content, unless you have obtained the appropriate authorizations from the owner. By submitting a file to CCI, you warrant that you have all of the necessary permission, right and authority to use all logos, text and images in your submitted file, and you authorize CCI to produce the products on your behalf.
Although we spend copious amounts of time to ensure that our online pricing is accurate, sometimes an errant entry slips through the cracks. Although we are quick to fix them, there may be an errant price in our system. With that in mind, we reserve the right to withdraw any order. If that happens, we’ll contact you immediately, and depending on how you’d like to proceed, we’ll either give you a full refund, or update the amount due to reflect the correct pricing. All prices are subject to change without notice.
CCI is not responsible for the legal compliance of any products we offer. The responsibility of checking with legal authority or governmental department or agency, on the compliance with any rules or regulations of any type of signage, rests solely with you.
CCI is not responsible for any damages caused by using our site or products. We are not liable to you for any incidental or consequential damages of any kind that result from the use of or inability to use our site or products. Our maximum liability, under all circumstances, will be equal to the purchase price you pay for any goods or services.
You agree that if you are purchasing something from us, that any credit card information you use will be true and complete, that charges by you will be honored by your credit card company, and you will pay the charges incurred by you.
Since all of our products are custom made, and due to the nature of an online site, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, except for in cases of damaged products, in which case we will reproduce the product, at no cost to you.
