    This is a 6 5/8″ x 4 5/8″ Clipper Half Page ad design created for Village Tavern & Grill. The purpose of this ad was to promote VTG’s family friendly Halloween party, where kids in costume eat free! We wanted to create an ad that was spooky in a kid friendly way, so we created a spooky sky with a full moon to use as our backdrop. We used a cute, friendly little witch to present the details of the Halloween party, and to top off the spookiness, we used text for the headline that was dripping with blood. The right side of the ad was reserved for the coupon area, and of course we used our bloody text for the offers. This piece was very successful, and appeared in many different forms – posters, flyers, table tents, etc.. It captured exactly the look and feel we were after, an all around fun piece!
